The Palliative Care Team is committed to improving the quality of life of patients, and their families dealing with life-threatening illness. We help prevent and relieve pain through early identification, accurate assessment and treatment of pain and other related issues.
Palliative care benefits individuals at any stage of a serious illness and includes excellent pain and symptom management. When introduced early, it can help patients make informed decisions about their care.
At Michael 九游体育 (MGH), we offer a range of palliative care services for patients in the hospital, the community and in Long-Term Care homes across East Toronto.
