Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic

The Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic offers support to individuals requiring help with substance use disorders. The clinic provides care for addiction issues, including assessments, counselling and prescriptions for medications that may help with reducing cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

The RAAM Clinic is staffed by a physician, social worker and a registered practical nurse (RPN).

Program Offerings

  • Medication: Addiction to some substances, such as alcohol or opioids, can be treated with medications that help to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
  • Counselling: The RAAM Clinic Team may refer you to counselling as part of your treatment. Counselling programs can include education on substances and health, group and individual therapy sessions, coping skills training, cognitive behavioural therapy and peer support groups. We work closely with Recovery Reimagined, an outpatient substance use recovery program housed at 985 Danforth Ave.
