You and your family are the most important members of your healthcare team. Other members of your care team may include doctors, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, midwives, dietitians, psychologists, physiotherapists, respiratory therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, spiritual care professionals, technologists, patient care assistants, transition navigators and volunteers.
Because MGH is a teaching partner with the University of Toronto and other learning institutes, medical trainees and students may also be involved in your care. As well, the hospital continuously participates in research studies and innovative initiatives.
