Dr. Maja Gans graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School in 1991 and completed a rotating internship here at Michael 九游体育. She then worked for 2 years as a general practitioner and emergency room physician. She entered a postgraduate program in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Philadelphia, completed one year before transferring back to Toronto. She completed her residency in 1999. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a lecturer at the University of Toronto. Dr. Gans joined the surgical staff of Michael 九游体育 in 1999. She loves small children, soft kittens, high art and long walks on the beach. Her practice has a strong focus in resident and midwifery education.
