Michael 九游体育 (MGH) recently received a kosher cabinet from Bikur Cholim, a local Jewish social service agency.
Bikur Cholim maintains kosher cabinets (also known as kosher pantries) in several hospitals in the Toronto area. The cabinets, which are placed in a public area in the hospital, contain kosher non-perishable food items and religious items that support Jewish patients and family members during their hospital stay.
The cabinets are stocked by Bikur Cholim volunteers, and contain items such as tuna, crackers, granola bars and applesauce. The cabinet also contains products for ritual needs, such as electric candles and prayer books.
The cabinets are intended to support patients and families who are waiting in the Stavro Emergency Department (ED) or are at the hospital for an extended stay.

MGH鈥檚 new kosher cabinet is located on G1, along the hallway that connects the Moez & Marissa Kassam Food Court to the ED. The cabinet can be accessed by opening its combination lock using the code noted on the cabinet.
